Lovely small cafe near the seafront. A few seats inside, but opted to take mine away and enjoy the beautiful weather. Food menu is written on the shop window, there are several options for mains and desserts. Smoothie menu inside on the wall. The owner (?) kindly did me a mix of two dishes and could not have been more accommodating. Super friendly, thanks so much Look forward to visiting your new store opening in York. Dog friendly although space is a little tight in the cafe. On street parking limited to 40 mins Mon - Sat.

This a great place to visit for some tasty, wholesome vegan meals and snacks. The aroma of the delicious food had me floating down the street like a cartoon character! A couple, sat inside eating at the single table available and told me that what I could smell tasted delicious! Sadly though, they were eating the last portion. Food here must go quick as it's freshly prepared on the day! Instead, I ordered a sourdough toastie, topped with avocado, smashed tofu, some plant bacon, tomatoes, spring onion and rocket, and it exceeded all expectations! Everything was absolutely bursting with flavour and freshness! I took it to go and sat around the corner to eat it. It was a hearty portion (although in my photograph I hadn't dug into it yet, so you can't tell it's a deep portion) and I was left satisfied. I bought a slice of the homemade carrot cake (possibly the nicest I've ever tried - it was baked perfectly that morning) topped off with vegan icing and a peanut butter smoothie to complete the meal, all for just under £20, which, for the superior quality of the food, was well justified. The establishment takes cash payment and bank transfer, as mobile signal in the area makes digital payments tricky. I was able to get a signal by standing outside the building so a bank transfer was possible. Add on top of all this some nice conversation with the friendly and attentive staff member and the whole experience becomes a very positive one. I look forward to returning one day to try the sold out dish!

I went to Francesca's on Eastborough today, for the 1st time, to have lunch. What a sweet little café with a very friendly feel. I was greeted on entry with a big smile and a welcome from the Chef&Owner! I ate the Shwarma fried cauliflower with rice, pomegranate and seeds, among many other delicious food items. It was served with minty yoghurt and with a yummy salad around. It was divine, so tasty and fresh! I also had 'The Green One' a superfood smoothie, which lived up to expectations and was, as the song goes, truly scrumptious !! It was a wonderfully peaceful moment of mouthwatering food&drink in what is otherwise a busy street. All was good value, given the quality ingredients and the care with which the dish/drink were prepared by Faye(I think her name was). I thoroughly recommend Francesca's to any discerning person and especially to veggie/vegan people. "I'll be back", as Arnie said, but not about a lovely café in the heart of Scarbados!! Thanks so much! Maggie 21/07/25

Awesome little family run 'one table' vegan place with delicious proper food. Best thing we'd eaten all week! Great vibe, friendly staff, varying menu and the food is available to takeaway. Will definitely eat from here again next time we're in Scarborough! Keep up the great work

An oasis of delicious plant-based food in Scarborough. Quick reply to our messages, and super friendly and helpful when we got there. The menu changes regularly. We had an Indian inspired all day breakfast, and a smokey butter bean drew. It is great vslue for money too. If you're in Scarborough then don't miss out. Not just for Vegans either, food for everyone.

I went into Francesca's today and it exceeded all expectations, truly a gem and so refreshing to see such a standout establishment in the heart of Scarborough. The food looked divine, the drinks (especially the smoothies) taste excellent - and a special shoutout to the homemade cake that sits on the counter which I had to resist buying all of. The young woman who works there was very accommodating, friendly, and truly a great host - couldn't ask for better customer service. So with all that in mind, I give Francesca's street eats, 5 stars. I was so refreshed by my delicious smoothie that I decided to compose poetry after my experience. Tucked in the heart of Scarborough’s beat, Lies a gem called Francesca’s Street Eats, A cosy nook with warmth and grace, Where smoothies smile and stews embrace. Blueberries swirl in a purple dream, Beetroot blushes with earthy gleam, Peanut butter rich, a velvet pour, Each sip leaves me longing for more. The mixed bean stew, a hearty hug, Tofu seasoned just right, warm and snug. Each plate feels like it knows your name, Comfort food with a soul and flame. But sweeter still, behind the till, An angel who brings the place its thrill, Bubbly, brilliant, bright as day, With kindness steeped in every tray. So here’s my ode, my thank-you song, To a place where taste and joy belong. This verse belongs to the humble and grand, To Francesca’s, built by heart and hand.

This is not just food, this is art in food form. Quaint'est little place with the most delightful warmt hearted welcome and some of the best food I have eaten in my time of being vegan. We felt looked after from start to finish. Fay cooked and served us up some of her own, and her families family recipes which were to die for. I wish I could have tried everything. To begin, we had a few hot drinks and a biscotti. Then went on to the Indian Bhurji breakfast. Full of surprises, textures that just worked exceptionally together. Not your regular breakfast, this is 10x better. Dessert, strawberry cheesecake. Oh.my.god. Word's just won't do it justice, neither will pictures. Everything was beyond our expectations. They are clearly talented enough to be opening an entire restaurant/chain. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. And Fay, such a beautiful hearted person with a clear passion for customer service and cooking

Best smoothies you can imagine! Rich, full of vitamins, exceptionally tasty. My favourite one is Blueberry with Almond Butter. Francesca’s offers smoothie, cake, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.
